Send your first certified quote

A certified quote is one where every line came from a rule you wrote: the frame from the matrix, the fabric from the yardage rate, the trim from its upcharge. Your AI assembles it; the engine prices it; you press send. CAI Designs’ designers send them without waiting on a rep.

1. Open the assistant from the dashboard, or on your storefront if you are testing as a buyer.
2. Ask the way the buyer asked you: “Can I get the 3585-11 in Train To Paris, 12 yards, with nailheads?”
3. The answer shows the product in that option, the swatch it picked, and the price lines with their rules.

If a line says “price on request”, the rule is missing. Add it, ask again.

1. Choose Send quote and pick the buyer, or type a new name and email.
2. Read the lines once. Adjust a discount, a fee, tax, deposit, validity or terms if needed; each adjustment is recorded, not recomputed.
3. Send. The buyer receives an email with the quote, a one-tap Approve, and a link to ask a question.

A project opens in Projects with the quote, the buyer and the thread. When the buyer approves, you see it there and by email. When they reply instead, the reply lands in the thread, and a revised quote keeps the same draft so nothing silently re-quotes at list. Deposits, sampling, production and shipment follow as milestones the buyer can watch.

Reps on the floor or at a kitchen table ask on their phone, check the lines, and send. The buyer approves on theirs. The number reaches them before the conversation ends, which is the point.
