Can it price install?
Yes. Install is a rule like any other: per opening, per unit type, with a minimum. The homeowner sees one installed total, and the dealer sees the unit and install lines separately on the same quote.
What if the homeowner changes a size?
“Make the two kitchen ones 30 by 54” re-prices the two units and the install line and updates the total on the same link. The homeowner sees the new number in the reply, not in a fresh PDF three days later.
What if it doesn’t know a price?
It says “price on request” and drafts the quote request for you. It never estimates. Ask it to price an option you have not set up and watch it ask for the rule instead of inventing a number.
How long until it works?
